They were just created a number of years ago to keep people in checkand to keep them fro doing certain things.they have become a part ad parcel of the life of most people as nobody has questioned them EVER. frankly speaking i agree that morals and ethics might help society in many ways but anything must be questioned and it really should be upto a person to decide what he wants to do. u r 100% right dude.morals and ethics are virtual.
