Evolution is speedier at equator

Yes, you read that right. Researchers have observed that the rate of evolution is almost twice at equators than at poles. This proves the point put forward by Klaus Rohde in 1992 that climate affects the evolution. Warmers temperature causes speedier metabolic reactions and also generates free radicals that cause may cause mutations in DNA.
