Lessons in entrepreneurship
All fantastic 14 lessons in entrepreneurship in one document. Read how
and why it was decided when to shut down Precimark (a startup I co-founded)
and what were the lessons to be learnt from Precimark.
Immortality
Immortality: My Ultimate Aim
Immortality has always lured me. Immortality is not just living indefinitely
but is to keep struggling to be alive. It means, you cannot die of natural
factors but you can however die of you following beings e.g. someone switching
off your simulation on a chip without you capable of doing anything coz
you have not updated yourselves with the times and the environment you
are living in.
The Holy Grail of Science: Defying
death
The fear of death is the most common of the all phobias we know. No one
wants to die. To imagine death is the worst punishment one can ever give.
History has seen many heroes abandoning their quests just because they
feared death. People may spend their fortune on treatments without guarantees
of 100% recoveries. Now the question arises, if death is so dreadful then
why it is so common?
Artificial Intelligence
Why is Artificial Intelligence DEAD?
Before starting writing about Why AI is dead, I'd like to invite a few
comments on "Is AI really dead?". Today, in my view, I don't
see any breakthrough research going on. I no more stumble across programs
which can create poetry, can chat effectively or can demonstrate novel
applications. So I consider AI dead today.
Evolution
Metaevolution
'Metaevolution' is, unsurprisingly, evolution of evolution. But the existing
concept of metaevolution is quite different from mine. Existing concept
defines meta evolution as evolution of evolution since the big-bang (
i.e. the birth of universe), but I define metaevolution as the evolution
of evolution (EoE) since the birth of life (on earth?).
Evolution
v/s Intelligent Design
This is a battle, not a battle between two groups but a battle between
a purely scientific theory and a theory which is purely based on the hypothesis
which says that complexity needs some intelligent designer. Since I am
religiously dedicated to my god which is evolution, expect the article
to be biased towards logic and correctness instead of intuition and baselessness.

Evolution for Living Indefinitely
Our bodies have been designed to reproduce the genes to the next generation.
So, after 50-60 years, when the reproductive phase ends, then the evolution
doesn't have anything to do with us. Why should evolution prevent us from
dying when we do nothing to pass on genes and in fact use up resources
that can be used by other organisms for reproduction? That is the reason
we die. After the reproductive phase, we do no good as far as preserving
genes is concerned, so evolution lets others use the resources.

Nanobiotechnology:
An Introduction
Nanobiotechnology is the merger of two distant fields of nanotechnology
and biotechnology. It uses the concepts, components and processes from
both of these fields to create new and novel applications. Already, basic
research has began which is well demonstrated by the fact that ATP powered
nano-motors have shown to be successfully working. Even though the commercial
applications are still unfeasible, research into this field can yield
surprises to what we believe is limits of technology.
Protein Design: Automated protein discovery and synthesis
In this paper I describe (theoretically) the method(s) of automated protein
discovery and synthesis using neural networks and genetic algorithms.
